Perform basic kitchen duties for individual section in all operational facets relating to supreme standards of disciplined mise en place and menu preparations. Meet logistical requirements for set up of all work stations relating to kitchen duties and mise en place levels to the highest qualitative standards.
Show effort and passion to cook great food to meet guest expectation. Works in a Hygienic, safe, efficient and productive manner at all times.Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
- Strong knowledge of culinary operations.
- Three to five years in culinary operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Chinese.
- High school, diploma in hotel management or equivalent education required.
