Hiltonexperience is preferred.The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Meetswith and maintains rapport with individuals and contacts in order to producegroups on both a local and national level; to include Room Sales, F & BSales and Catering/Banquet. *Schedules conventions and business groupactivities at the hotel. *Maintains liaison with other hotel-level departmentsto facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospectiveclients. *Maintains good rapport with area Chamber of Commerce, and otherlocal civic groups and companies. *Ensures sales activities meet or surpassprofit plan. *Develops and maintains client files. *Develops and implementssales and marketing strategies. *All other duties as assigned by a manager ors Experience and Skills:The successful candidate must have hotel sales experience, possess strongwritten and oral communication skills and computer experience. Recent orcurrent experience with local or national business transient accounts. SalesPro experience is preferred. Positive and energetic customer service skillsare required.
