NJ Employer Hotel Room Inspector in Ewing, New Jersey

Courtyard by Marriott Ewing Princeton in Ewing, NJis searching for a Hotel Room Inspector. In absence of the Housekeeping Manager this position performs routine duties to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service by adhering to brand and company standards. The dedicated Room Inspector will take pride in providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the hotel guest rooms are properly cleaned and maintained.Job functions will include:Responding to guest requests and inquiriesDaily assignments for the room attendants.Approves all guest rooms are ready for occupancy.Directs laundry department operations.Inspects rooms after housekeepers have cleaned them and ensures all High hotel policies and standards have been met.Works varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.Performs any general duties requested by housekeeping or the general manager.Personally sees that linen closets are clean, organized and secured.Maintains the hotel guest lost and found log.Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guestsThe successful candidate will possess the following:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum one year hotel experience preferred.Reading, math, and communication skills.The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.Availability to work holidays and weekends is required.Adhere to brand and company standards.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
