JOB REQUIREMENTS: InterContinental Milwaukee Banquet Set-up 1st & 2nd Shift (Part- Time) (17000185) Job Description JOB TITLE Banquet Set-Up DEPARTMENT Banquet SUPERVISOR Banquet Manager-Banquet Captains POSITION PURPOSE Ensures appropriate set up of Banquet rooms according to guest specifications and Hilton's high standards of quality. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Maintain condition and cleanliness of banquet facilities by cleaning, vacuuming, and shampooing carpet. 2. Set-up banquets spaces as required per tables chairs and linen 3. Provide service to customers as required per contract. 4. Perform breakdown of function rooms. 5. Assist in serving as necessary. 6. Read and understand a Banquet Event Order (BEO). 7. Organize, control and restock linen room and supplies. 8. Organize and control inventory and storage. 9. Ensure clean work environment. 10. Execute and maintain coffee service 11. Ability to effectively communicate verbally in English. 3. Ability to read English language sufficiently to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists. 4. Ability to grasp, lift, and or carry or otherwise move packages and boxes and luggage up to 45 lbs continuously throughout shift. 5. Ability to stand, walk, and or sit and continuously perform essential job functions. 6. Sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to be able to load and unload luggage 7.
