JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Corporate Director of Sales will be responsible for establishing greater structure and accountability based on their ability to train, motivate and identify opportunities and efficiencies within our sales teams and portfolio with the ultimate goal of increasing top line sales. They will work directly with corporate leadership and marketing resources to support sales programming and execution in all hotels. This role will be based out of our corporate office located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and personally lead our Wisconsin Regional Sales Team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Drives property sales strategies and initiatives with primary focus on Wisconsin market hotels and resorts Optimize deployment of resources at property level Sales performance management & execution (productivity) Strategic/Tactical direction to property sales leaders Ensure execution of property Strategic Planning/Budgets Provide guidance regarding Sales & Marketing Line (Prop Budgets) Ensures sales bench strength is identified and developed Align Marketing efforts and resources with successful sales strategies Resolves hotel conflicts with contracts, cancellation threats, etc Work with corporate Event Management & Revenue Strategy leadership to streamline hotel revenue tools such as ProfitPace, BI and Delphi Preopening hotel deployment and sales goals establishment Identify, develop and execute division sales initiatives (Group, BT, Catering) EOE M/F/D/V/SO ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Sales leadership, hotel specific experience strongly preferred 2.Experienced at cold calling on hotel or catering related clients 3.Creative and proven prospecting skills 4.Understand the GDS, TMC and different channel distributions related to business travel 5.Ability to analyze market data including Hotelligence Report, Star Report, etc. 6.Sales Blitz experience and participation 7.Successful at making persuasive and compelling presentations to key decision makers 8.Ability to maintain accurate and up to date sales records and files 9.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills 10.Accurate knowledge and application of meeting room capacities 11.Possess computer skills or trainable to include, but not limited to, accounting/financials programs, Word, Excel, Galaxy and Delphi. 12.Excellent inter-personal and sales-related skills. 13.Capable of leading and motivating teams ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: ipc.us/t/3C0A32B81AB349E2
