The Guest Services Sales Manager is responsible for the overall achievement of their group room nights and revenue budget, focusing on groups of 45 or more room nights in addition to achieving the sales team line of business goals which include: lift tickets, hotel banquets, on-mountain banquets, equipment rentals, and mountain activities. Also, working on a regional team to develop sales stratigies to ensure the regional team achieves revenue and room nights goals. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure pull-through of group strategies and partner with the Director of Sales to ensure resort attains and grows group revenue objectives and overall Park City Resort fiscal year initiatives.

  • Accountability for achieving group room night and revenue goals as well as individual booking pace goals.

  • Strong focus on prospecting for new business and tracking new accounts.

  • Ensure focus is on strategic proactive selling and penetrating new accounts to maximize group room revenues.

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, serve as a group sales liaison with key departments such as Revenue Management, Conference Services, National Sales, Mountain Operations, and other internal customers as appropriate.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.

  • Travel as needed and represent the properties, resort and Vail Resorts at trade shows, sales calls, and FAMS.

Job Qualifications:

  • College degree – required.

  • At least 3 years of Hospitality sales experience – required .

  • At least 7 years Hotel/Service Industry experience, preferably in a resort setting – required .

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge – required.

  • Delphi software experience – preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – required .

  • Budgeting, business planning, forecasting experience – preferred .
